Emmanuella Michel

PhD student in Educational Technology at University Laval, Emmanuella Michel is a Consultant, and Project Manager in Health, Education and Autonomy at CEFRIO. Ms. Michel is an entrepreneur at heart who has an interest in research in experiential learning and virtual reality. She has over 16 years of experience in the fields of health, social services and education including 10 years as manager of a specialized group home. She managed a team of special care counselling educators and offered support and assistance services program to young people aged 13 to 25 (with mild intellectual disability, mental health or within the autism spectrum with a TGC ) in the context of rehabilitation, in partnership with the Centre de réadaptation de l’Ouest de Montréal (CROM) of the CIUSSS-west island and the MSSS. She also sat on the CROM’s Quality and Risk Management Committee for several years.
