Rebecca is a Registered Kinesiologist (R.Kin; Ontario) with clinical expertise with both patient and athlete populations. Rebecca is an advocate for the use of exercise in injury and disease prevention and rehabilitation through her work with the Ontario Kinesiology Association, College of Kinesiologists of Ontario and as the co-founder and administrator of the Connected Kinesiologists forum. In addition to her clinical work, she has taught human anatomy and exercise prescription to kinesiology students at the University of Waterloo (Ontario).

While a member of the PCHI (Person-Centred Health Informatics) and KEEP (Knowledge Exchange and Education in the health Professions) labs, Rebecca’s research will be focused on the sustainability of interventions which aim to move knowledge into healthcare practice (i.e. knowledge translation interventions).  Specifically, Rebecca will investigate how a tool used in acquired brain injury (ABI) rehabilitation (i.e. the Mayo-Portland Adaptability Inventory (MPAI-4)) can be implemented and sustained in practice.
